Earlier this week, we bought out an entire theatre at Cineplex Cinemas Lansdowne VIP for an exclusive private screening of former CFL player Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s newest blockbuster Rampage.
Not only did select Lumberyard members win tickets to the movie, when they arrived they were greeted by REDBLACKS offensive lineman Jon Gott and running back William Powell. Fans were able to chat with the guys, take photos and get autographs before heading upstairs to enjoy the show.
Inside the theatre, was a preview of what TD Place will look like come June 22 at our home opener. It was a packed house with REDBLACKS jerseys prominent throughout. As the lights dimmed and the opening credits rolled Jon Gott made his way into the theatre to sit with the fans and enjoy the action packed blockbuster.
Fans and players alike enjoyed the evening but there was a consistent sentiment felt once the night was done, everyone cannot wait for football season to be here.
