Ottawa REDBLACKS Courageous Conversations Program

Attention teachers – Now is your chance to participate in the Ottawa REDBLACKS Courageous Conversations Program!

Students in grades 6-8 will be engaged in compelling conversations on diversity, racism, and inclusion with Ottawa REDBLACKS players and coaches and other athletes. We are all lucky to work, live, and learn in a rich and diverse community, and this program will allow students to discuss today’s most important topics with a diverse panel of athletes.

This free program will be conducted in-person with the shift back to in-class learning over the past year. Each session is roughly an hour in length but can be tailored to your school’s schedule. This program is interactive, with students able to participate and ask questions.

We just had a Courageous Conversations presentation here for our 7/8 group and it was very powerful. It was a fantastic presentation and the students were very engaged. Sacred Heart H.S. Vice Principal (Feb 2022).
