(from CFL) Six team award winners from each Canadian Football League (CFL) club are advancing to the next stage of voting to determine the divisional finalists for the CFL Awards.
The winners were selected by their respective CFL city’s voting members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC), as well as their team’s head coach.
Voters were tasked with selecting players whose on-field performances best represent the team’s Most Outstanding Player, Most Outstanding Canadian, Most Outstanding Defensive Player, Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman, Most Outstanding Rookie, and Most Outstanding Special Teams Player.
The division finalists for the 2023 CFL Awards will be announced on Wednesday, November 1.
The CFL Awards are one of the flagship events in the build-up to Canada’s largest single-day sporting event – the Grey Cup. The CFL ON TSN’s Kate Beirness returns to host the event from the Avalon Theatre at Fallsview Casino & Resort in Niagara Falls, Ont., on Thursday, November 16 beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET Tickets are available for purchase here.
