REDBLACKS Women’s Training Camp Is Back!

After 2 long years, the best girls’ night out in Ottawa returns to The Stadium at TD Place on Friday, July 22, 2022.

Led by Ottawa REDBLACKS players, women of all skill levels and abilities will take to the gridiron for an inspirational and empowering evening of on-field skills and drills to learn the finer points of REDBLACKS football.

This signature event is not just a fun, hands-on experience, the REDBLACKS Women’s Training Camp raises critical funds to support OSEG Foundation’s girls in sports programs.

Help Empower Girls Through Sports

Studies have repeatedly shown that girls drop out of sports at a higher rate than boys. Throughout the pandemic, even more girls dropped out of sports and 1 in 4 girls are not committed to returning. When girls do not participate in sports, they miss out on the physical, social, and emotional benefits of physical activity.

Your participation in the REDBLACKS Women’s Training Camp will help provide opportunities for girls in our community to participate in programs like Girls on the Run and Sports Day the Girls’ Way. These programs inspire young girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident so they can excel and reach their full potential in life.
