REDBLACKS look to avenge loss to Lions on Saturday

The Ottawa REDBLACKS search for answers and wins as the back to back with BC shifts back home on Saturday night with the good guys set to take a second crack at the visiting BC Lions.

This will be the second time in as many weeks the two teams have squared off, with the Lions getting the better of the REDBLACKS 29-5 in that one.

Jonathon Jennings will be back under centre for Ottawa as the REDBLACKS look to snap their losing streak, while the Lions roll into town with Mike Reilly leading the way at quarterback.

Saturday’s game is also an opportunity for fans to honour the rich history of CFL football in Ottawa, with Retro Night being the theme for the evening. Among the special items planned for the game is the addition of former Ottawa Rough Rider Kaye Vaughan to the Wall of Honour at TD Place.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION

Mike Reilly is dangerous no matter who he has playing in front of him, with the veteran sitting third in the CFL with 2,953 yards and 12 touchdowns, as well as 13 interceptions, this season. Bryan Burnham continues to lead the way for BC offensively with 943 yards so far this season, while Maleki Harris has set the tone defensively with a team-best 52 tackles.
