With the halfway mark of the 2018 season now upon us, the team is enjoying some well deserved time off during their second bye week. Check out what the guys are up to away from TD Place:

Lewis Ward dropped by his alma mater to talk with the uOttawa Gee Gees squad and wish them best of luck to start their season.

Staying in Ottawa, RJ Barrett, Will Powell, Lewis Ward, and Diontae Spencer joined these fans to play tag ball.

Ky Hebert, Big Joe, Fury FC’s Jamar Dixon, and members of the REDBLACKS Cheer & Dance Team celebrated Capital Pride at the TD Block Party in Aberdeen Square.

Big Joe joined Henry Burris on the links at GreyHawk Golf Club for the MBNA Charity Tournament in support of the OSEG Foundation.

Defensive lineman Nigel Romick travelled back home to Thunder Bay, ON for a friend’s wedding, while also spending a day with the Thunder Bay Minor Football Association signing autographs and talking to young players at a fundraiser.

Rookie Justin Howell returned to his hometown of Bradford West Gwillimbury as a celebrity.

The defensive back attended the town’s famous Carrot Fest to receive a certificate of appreciation for his achievements from Bradford Mayor Rob Keffer and members of town council. Howell signed autographs, including a bag of carrots (pictured below), and donated an autographed football for a fundraiser.
