With spring finally settling in and the 2018 CFL season around the corner, the REDBLACKS are thrilled to be hosting the first-annual Fan Fest presented by CARSTAR at TD Place on May 27.
The REDBLACKS will be a week into training camp and will be raring to get the season started. But before they hit the field for real, RNation is invited to get a behind-the-scenes look at the team in action as the REDBLACKS offence and defence square off in a scrimmage from 1 – 2:30p.m.
“The guys always love when RNation shows up to practices to cheer them on,” said REDBLACKS Head Coach Rick Campbell. “It will be great to get a chance to welcome everyone back before our preseason game against Montreal (May 31, 7:30 p.m. at TD Place).”
Following the friendly battle, fans will get the chance to take part in a variety of football drills on the field and meet their favourite players, members of the Cheer Team and Big Joe himself. The Family Fun Zone will also be open, offering fun games and activities for all ages.
The free event runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 27. Fans do not need a ticket to attend, but print-at-home tickets are available by clicking here.
