Diontae Spencer’s speedy return game has earned the REDBLACKS receiver a spot amongst the CFL’s top performers for Week 13.
With Ottawa looking to jump back into top spot in the East Division and taking on the Montreal Alouettes on Sunday, Spencer exploded for a 113-yard touchdown off a missed Als field goal, sending the packed section of travelling members of RNation into hysterics. Spencer added another 52 yards on six catches as Ottawa downed Montreal 29-11.
Spencer has been impressive in his first season in Ottawa, with the former Argo catching 51 passes for 572 yards and four touchdowns while adding 640 yards and a touchdown on the punt return, 416 kickoff return yards and another 231 yards and a TD on missed field goal run backs.
