REDBLACKS to ‘Thank Hank’ Saturday Night

The Ottawa REDBLACKS will honour the man who last season quarterbacked the team to its first Grey Cup title and delivered Ottawa’s first CFL championship in 40 years. Henry Burris, who retired after earning the most outstanding player award in that historic game, will be recognized during a special halftime ceremony on Saturday night when the REDBLACKS host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for this game.

Fans are encouraged to share their well wishes to Henry on social media by using the hashtag #ThanksHank – a message that is also enshrined on the inside of the REDBLACKS’ 2016 Grey Cup Championship rings.

The REDBLACKS, winners of three straight, will look to tie a franchise record with a fourth straight win and maintain their post atop the CFL’s East Division.

Tickets for Saturday night’s contest are available by clicking here, calling 613.232.6767 X1 or in person at The Box Office at TD Place.
