The Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group today announced the signing of a new partnership with 104,7 Outaouais and COGECO MÉDIA.
For a third season, the 104,7 team will broadcast the entire season of the Grey Cup Champion Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League.
Outaouais fans will enjoy all of the REDBLACKS action thanks to the broadcast team lead by play-by-play voice of Marc Legault, colour commentator Denis Pichéand Olivier Beauregard as their sideline reporter.
For 104,7 Outaouais, this new deal represents a unique opportunity as the Canada 150th and 105th Grey Cup celebrations will be held in the capital.
At the same time, the 104,7 Outaouais team announced that they will also be covering five Fury FC home games in 2017 with Olivier Charbonneau, ex-player and provincial level coach as play-by-play and Maxime Daigle, ex-Quebec elite player, as color commentator.
For Jeff Hunt, President of OSEG Sports, the partnership with 104,7 Outaouais will allow both teams to shine in the francophone market.
“The francophone market is important to our organization. We are delighted to partner with one of the top French-language stations in our region. Fans will continue to enjoy coverage of every REDBLACKS game on 104,7 and, new this year, broadcasts of every Fury FC home match.”
According to 104.7 Outaouais General Manager Bob Rioux, this deal will allow both teams to attract even more fans from the Outaouais region.
“We feel great excitement for these teams. Fury FC is a growing organization and has a partnership with the Montreal Impact. We would like to introduce this team to all the families and soccer fans of the Outaouais.”
