FB Pat Lavoie
The Laval product hauled in 16 catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns in 2015. Lavoie also caught a touchdown in the Grey Cup.
LB David Hinds
In his first full CFL season Hinds was a mainstay on defence, registering 41 tackles and two sacks.
WR/KR Jamill Smith
After being a regular starter in 2014, Smith was released during training camp, but re-joined the team in mid-October en route to a Grey Cup appearance.
DL Andrew Marshall
In two seasons with the club, the 25-year-old Marshall has accounted for eight tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble.
OL Matt Albright
The Darmouth, Nova Scotia native was selected in the second round (16th overall) of the CFL Expansion Draft in 2013.
NEW ADDITIONS
QB Trevor Harris
The REDBLACKS solidified their future at quarterback by signing the former Toronto Argonaut pivot. The 29-year-old Harris played in 17 games for the Argonauts in 2015, throwing for a CFL-best 33 touchdowns and 4353 yards (third in CFL).
FB Brendan Gillanders
The 27-year-old Orleans native and former University of Ottawa Gee-Gees’ running back signed with the club following two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts. Gillanders is a former teammate of current REDBLACKS wide receiver Brad Sinopoli.
DE Arnaud Gascon-Nadon
The 27-yard-old Montreal native spent the last three season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats after the club selected him in the third round (17th overall) of the 2012 CFL Draft. The University of Laval product had 21 tackles (14 on special teams) and a forced fumble while in Hamilton.
General manager Marcel Desjardins said “Gascon-Nadon is certainly a player that has the ability to play significant reps for us on defence and we look forward to giving him that opportunity in training camp.”
