OTTAWA – Abdul Kanneh is the latest defender to the join the Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League.
Kanneh, a native of London, England, played two seasons of collegiate football at defensive back for the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys where he totaled nine interceptions and four touchdowns along with 107 career total tackles.
The 23-year-old Kanneh also returned 21 kickoffs for 425 yards with two touchdowns and 13 punt returns for 215 yards.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound resident of Woodbridge, Virginia has professional experience with the NFL’s Cleveland Browns in 2013 and with the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League.
The REDBLACKS also announced the deletions of the following players: non-import receiver Justin Chapdelaine and non-import receiver Liam Mahoney.
