For a third time in four weeks, REDBLACKS QB Trevor Harris has been named among the CFL’s top players of Week 4. Harris put on a record-breaking show in Toronto last week, completing 28 of 31 passes for 392 yards as REDBLACKS continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 30-20 win over the Argos at BMO Field.

CFL Top Performers – Week 3
1 – Adrian Tracy (Hamilton Tiger-Cats)
2 – Trevor Harris (Ottawa REDBLACKS)
3 – Jonathon Jennings (BC Lions)

After coming into Ottawa’s season-opener in Edmonton in relief of the injured Henry Burris, Harris has stepped up and led the club to an impressive 3-0-1 record to start the year. His performance against the Argos may just have been his best one yet, as Harris set a new record against his former team for best completion rate (90.3%) with at least 30 attempts.

Though Harris didn’t throw for a touchdown against the Argos, his fingerprints were all over the final result. The 30-year-old Ohio native punched in a one-yard TD after connecting with receiver Greg Ellingson on a 77-yard passing play as Ottawa marched back from an early 13-0 deficit.

The REDBLACKS carry their unbeaten record (3-0-1) into Regina later this week as Ottawa visits the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
