The Park & Shuttle and Take Transit programs are a collaboration between the City of Ottawa, OC Transpo, STO, TD Place, and the Ottawa REDBLACKS to reduce parking demands in the surrounding neighbourhoods, reduce traffic congestion, promote sustainable transportation modes to TD Place, and get you to the game on time. They also make for a stress-free game day experience!
Parking at Lansdowne
Park & Shuttle
Your REDBLACKS ticket gets you free parking and free shuttle service directly to TD Place. Both locations can accommodate accessible vehicles, and operate accessible buses to and from TD Place.
Direct shuttles start approximately two hours prior to kickoff.
For Park & Shuttle service start times, please refer to the TRIP PLANNER.
Park & Shuttle service is available at the following lots:
Canada Post: To/From TD Place (2701 Riverside Dr. Ottawa, ON. K1A 0B1)
City Hall: To/From TD Place (110 Laurier Ave W, Ottawa, ON K1P 1J1)
City Hall Parking
When you enter the garage at City Hall, take a spitter ticker like you would at any garage, present it and your game ticket to a TD Place representative inside the lift gate, and he or she will validate the spitter ticket to eliminate all charges that would normally be applied. After that, find a space, park your car, get to ground level and catch a free shuttle to TD Place from the south entrance of the building fronted by Lisgar Street. When you return for your car after the game, use the validated spitter ticket to exit the garage. For more information, please contact us.
OC Transpo: Terry Fox, Eagleson, Strandherd, Fallowfield, Baseline,
Greenboro, Place D’Orleans, Trim
OC Transpo service on Bank Street will be enhanced during game days for an easy connection from downtown. In addition, special OC Transpo and STO routes will be in place providing direct service to TD Place from across Ottawa and Gatineau.
If you’re buying your REDBLACKS ticket at the gate, regular OC Transpo and STO fares apply for travel to the game, so buy your game ticket in advance! Without a game ticket, standard OC Transpo and STO fares apply and standard payment options are accepted, including PRESTO, tickets, monthly passes and transfers. These are valid on all routes, including special Park & Shuttle routes.
Enjoy the game, and remember to keep your game day ticket stub for your return trip on transit.
The O-Train Line 1 has arrived, and is another great option to get to TD Place. If you are trying it out this weekend– the best option for now is to disembark at Parliament station, head to stop “B” on Queen Street, and then jump on the #6 Greenboro or #7 Carleton which will drop you off right in front of TD Place.
Your gameday ticket gets you a free ride on the new LRT! We are working towards a ticketing solution where the TD Place tickets scan into the LRT fare gates, but at this point they will not open the gates. In the meantime, please follow these stops to enter through the fare gates:
- Look for OC Staff in red “Info” vests. Show them your gameday ticket.
- Use video-chat on ticket machines “HELP” and show your game day ticket
On Saturdays, the O-Train stations hours of operation and trip frequencies are:
- Every five minutes from 6:00am-7:00pm
- Every eight minutes from 7:00pm-2:00am
For more information, please check out OC Transpo’s LRT info page here.
Bike and Park
Ride your bike to the game and leave your bike and helmet with us! You can find the Bike and Park on the basketball courts at Lansdowne and don’t worry about bringing a lock either, the stations will be watched all day long. Best part, it’s free!
