2024: Godber started at centre in 12 regular-season games and appeared in both playoff contests (playing centre for three quarters of the Western Semi-Final and all of the Western Final).

2023: Godber started all 15 regular-season games for which he was available after signing with Saskatchewan on Day 1 of the 2023 free-agency period. According to Pro Football Focus, he graded out as the CFL’s top centre and was rated fourth overall among the league’s offensive linemen.

PRO: In 2018, Godber was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the first round (third overall). Over the 2018 and 2019 seasons, he saw action in 10 games before becoming a full-time starter in 2021. He followed up in 2022 by starting all 18 of the Lions’ regular-season games and both playoff contests.

COLLEGE: While at Rice University from from 2013 to 2017, he appeared in 48 games and made 35 starts. He played both left and right guad during his collegiate career.

FAST FACT: Godber and his father attended the 2007 Grey Cup Game, in which the Roughriders defeated the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 23-19 at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
