2024: Henderson had eight defensive tackles (one for a loss) on Aug. 8 at Ottawa … six tackles, Sept. 28 vs. Ottawa … forced key fumble with 1:45 left in fourth quarter, Oct. 5, at Edmonton … 33 defensive tackles and two forced fumbles in eight regular-season games.

2023: Henderson started as a defensive halfback in all 18 games in 2023, registering two interceptions — including his first CFL pick (July 22 at B.C.). He also recorded an interception Aug. 11 against the host Montreal Alouettes.

PRO: Henderson signed with the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He played in one pre-season game with the Minnesota Vikings in 2021. As a CFL rookie with the Roughriders in 2022, he registered 31 defensive tackles, five pass knockdowns and one fumble recovery.

COLLEGE: Henderson spent five seasons at Wake Forest, playing in 46 games over that span. Over his time at Wake Forest, he recorded 169 defensive tackles, seven interceptions and 48 passes defended (fourth in school history). As a senior, he earned Second-Team All-ACC recognition after registering 40 defensive tackles, four interceptions, 14 passes defended and a fumble recovery. His team-leading four interceptions ranked second in the ACC in 2019; his 14 passes defended were fifth in the conference. He finished up his senior year with an invitation to the NFLPA Bowl.

FAST FACT: Henderson’s cousin, C.J. McCollum, has been a member of the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans since 2022. He made his NBA debut with the Portland Trail Blazers in 2013. McCollum has averaged 19.5 points per game during his NBA career. He has averaged at least 20 points per game for the past 10 seasons.
