Video Coordinator

Colin Farquharson is the Head Video Coordinator for the Ottawa REDBLACKS. He is currently entering his 19th season in the CFL.

Prior to joining the REDBLACKS, Colin spent six seasons as the Head Video Coordinator with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, a position he also held with the Montreal Alouettes for seven seasons, and with which he won a Grey Cup championship in 2002. He began his CFL career in 1999 as the Head Video Coordinator for the Toronto Argonauts.

As Head Video Coordinator, Colin oversees all video operations for the REDBLACKS which includes filming, dubbing and editing all game and practice film. The video department is responsible for maintaining a video database of all future REDBLACKS player prospects by keeping a vast library of all NCAA, NFL, and U Sports game film up-to-date and available for the Scouting Department.

Colin graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honors BA in Communication Studies and Film. He also played on the school’s rugby team. Born and raised in Blenheim, ON, Colin and his wife, Heather, make their home in Orleans.
