Finish this statement: I am most proud of…

I am most proud of where I am in my life right now. Within the past year I changed jobs, became a first time home buyer and joined the REDBLACKS cheer team, and I couldn’t be happier.

What is your dance/cheer background and experience?

I did competitive cheer for four years with Cheer Sport Sharks as well as three seasons with the Ottawa Sooners Cheer Team before I joined REDBLACKS Cheer in 2016.

Why did you audition for the REDBLACKS Cheerleading & Dance Team?

I auditioned for the REDBLACKS cheerleading and Dance Team because I enjoyed my time being apart of this team last season. REDBLACKS Cheer provided me with opportunities to enhance my skills as an athlete and also be an ambassador within the Ottawa Community. Through game day experiences and community events, this team and organization has given me experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.

What advice would you give someone who dreams of becoming a cheerleader?

Cheerleading takes a lot of dedication and team work in order for it to be successful, but if you put your mind to it, work hard and believe in yourself, anything is possible.

If you could say one thing to #RNation, what would you say?

I’m so excited for the 2017 season to start and for us to host the Grey Cup here in Ottawa this year!!
