Jackson Bennett and Tyron Vrede attended a local youth after-school program in the Vanier area on November 21st. The youth program brings together Inuit children within the Ottawa community to learn about their heritage through culturally relevant teachings and participation in activities with other youth. Jackson and Tyron supported the youth in running a number of football drills including teaching them how to throw and catch a football and the differences between offence and defensive positioning. The REDBLACKS also donated a set of CFL youth footballs for them to continue to use and Tyron and Jackson took a number of photos and signed autographs for the youth.
