Everything you need to know for the REDBLACKS Home Opener

We’re back, RNation! After a long, cold winter, the Ottawa REDBLACKS take on back-to-back Grey Cup Champs, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, in front of a home crowd at The Stadium at TD Place on Friday, June 17th.

We’re kicking off the summer in style and we want to get you pumped up for all this game has to offer.

New Ticket Prices
Inflation? Not here. Enjoy affordable football starting as low as $25. Life is expensive these days, but REDBLACKS football doesn’t have to be.

Free Thunder Sticks
What’s better than free? Probably nothing. The first 18,000 fans at the game will receive free thunder sticks to use loud and proud during the game. Be sure to arrive early to get your hands on these noise makers!

Military Flyover

The roaring sound of the military flyover is back! There’s no better way to kick off a new REDBLACKS season than with this adrenaline-boosting moment so make sure to keep your eyes glued to the sky just before kickoff!

$5 Beer

Nothing pairs better with football than $5 beer with your buds. Grab your friends and head down to the Corona Bar at Gate 1 to get yours until kick-off.

Live Music
Pair your football and $5 beer with some live music. Come down to Gate 1 before the game and during halftime to take in some tunes performed by the Young Petty Stones! Live music, beer, AND football…you’ve hit the trifecta.

WOW Item of the Game

The WOW Item of the Game is back this season, and we can’t wait to show you what we have cooking. Get your hands on the new smoked brisket nuggets on June 17th and we promise you won’t be disappointed.

You Could Win $100,000!

No, that isn’t a typo – you really could win $100,000. In partnership with the OSEG Foundation, the REDBLACKS home opener features a 50/50 draw, with the guaranteed minimum prize of $100,000.
Fans within Ontario can buy tickets at 5050ottawaredblacks.com, but they’ll also be available in The Stadium during the game. Be sure to keep your eyes open for our 50/50 sellers in the bright orange vests. Tickets will be sold right up until the end of the fourth quarter.
All proceeds will go towards the OSEG Foundation, helping to provide opportunities for kids in our community to play, learn, and develop through sports.
