With the hunger for Canadian football at an all-time high following a challenging year without the game, the Ottawa REDBLACKS are ready with the sixth overall pick in Tuesday’s 2021 CFL Draft.
The draft is the next off-seasons step following a busy free agency period as GM Marcel Desjardins and his football operation staff look to bring in the next generation of REDBLACKS talent. RNation can catch the two first rounds of the 2021 CFL Draft on TSN starting at 7:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 4th. In 2020, the Ottawa REDBLACKS selected the all-around defensive standout Adam Auclair with their first round pick, sixth overall. The Quebec City native signed officially his first professional contract with Ottawa last February. Auclair joined the likes of Alex Fontana, Nolan MacMillan, Antoine Pruneau, Alex Mateas, Jason Lauzon-Seguin, Mark Korte and Evan Johnson as first-round draft selections of the REDBLACKS.
