REDBLACKS add three to roster, including 2020 draft pick Treshaun Abrahams-Webster

The Ottawa REDBLACKS continue to build their 2021 training camp roster, inking defensive back and 2020 CFL Draft selection Treshaun Abrahams-Webster, American offensive lineman Brandon Hitner and American linebacker Frankie Griffin.


National defensive back, Treshaun Abrahams-Webster
Abrahams-Webster was drafted by the Ottawa REDBLACKS in the fifth round, 38
th overall, of the 2020 CFL Draft. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Pickering native played in eight games for the Dinos in 2019. During his university career, Abrahams-Webster has recorded a total of 49,5 tackles in 28 games.

American Offensive lineman, Brandon Hitner
Hitner was signed by the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He then spent time on the practice squads of the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts. He competed in 28 games during his collegiate career at Villanova and was the recipient of the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award in 2017.

American linebacker, Frankie Griffin
Griffin signed as an undrafted free agent out of Texas State with the Green Bay Packers in 2020. He played 42 games in four seasons of college football, making 212 tackles, 25.5 of which were for a loss, along with 7.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries. He earned all-Sun Belt third team honors for his 2017 season and honorable mention for his 2018 campaign.
