When the COVID pandemic began and most of us stayed home to stay safe, tens of thousands of others didn’t have that opportunity. They were and still are on the front-lines of our fight against the virus, and one of the many local businesses that have stepped-up to support and thank them is Gabriel Pizza. Gabe’s franchisees have so far prepared and donated over 6,000 meals to hospital workers, Covid assessment centres, emergency distress/support facilities, members of the military, first responders, the Ottawa Food Bank, seniors homes and charities. They’ve also donated to individuals and groups as thanks for launching their own initiatives to help people in need.
