When Shayne Lachance witnessed the life-saving treatment and exceptional care his grandson Ethan received as a baby at CHEO, the former IT Specialist was deeply grateful and moved. He pledged that one day, he’d rededicate his life to caring for others. True to his word, Shayne studied to become a Personal Support Worker (PSW) and he now cares for scores of elderly clients per week, in their homes, working for Carefor Health and Community Services.
