JP Bolduc Hosts Telus #EndBullying Workshop

The REDBLACKS and TELUS’ long standing partnership has extended itself to take a stance and #EndBullying. When schools closed in march due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the school assembly and classroom visit program from the REDBLACKS #EndBullying All-stars was put on hold.

With youth spending an increasing amount of time online, it was important to find a way to continue sharing this messaging with young students and football fans across the country and Outaouais region. As such, it was time to get digital and bring the assembly to everyone at their homes using Facebook Live and TELUS Optik TV.

On June 11, REDBLACKS Defensive Back and #EndBullying All-Star JP Bolduc was joined by over 600 participants for his TELUS Wise Footprint workshop on Facebook Live. Together, JP and participants learned more about how to keep their digital footprint clean and talked about ways to use technology responsibly.

Did you know that everything we do online – like playing games, texting, going to our favorite social networking sites, sending photos – leaves a digital footprint? With the increasing time we’re spending online, it’s important now more than ever that we take steps to keep ourselves safe online and rise above cyberbullying. Fans who missed the live session can tune into the recorded event below…
