RNation Victorious In Virtual Home Opener

Thank you RNation for joining us for our very first Virtual Home Opener presented by TD. A night filled with special guests and surprises. The closest thing to a game day at TD Place. 500 strong in the private Forever RNation Season Seat Member Zoom and countless more following along on our social channels. Like a game at TD Place this virtual one started with a passionate speech from Head Coach Paul LaPolice followed by a stirring rendition of the National Anthem by Ottawa artist JW Jones. Then, quarter by quarter, host Chris Hofley alongside a familiar face – AJ Jakubec – talked to players and coaches. We even had the world famous REDBLACKS Cheer Team stop by for a killer halftime performance. Wrapping up the night, we were super proud to keep a tradition alive – our wood cookie ceremony, but virtually. We honoured Dr Vera Etches as our RNation Everyday Hero. What an unbelievable night.
