RNation Everyday Hero: Christine Thompson

When the lockdown began, Christine Thompson went to work.  The Orleans seamstress took it upon herself to contact other sewing people across the city, source fabric and other sewing supplies and organize everybody to produce masks, protective gowns and surgical caps.  Christine collects and delivers the finished, homemade personal protective equipment (PPE) to long-term care facilities, hospitals and retirement homes. Since mid-March, she and her extended team have produced and delivered over 100,000 pieces of PPE and they’re still going strong.  Thank you, Christine.  You are an RNation Everyday Hero!

Christine wanted to share the honour with George Medynski, a member of her team helping get PPE to those who need them most.
