Une semaine en Outaouais avec le Rouge et Noir
What a pleasure it was! Bye-week was restful but also busy for many of the francophone players on the REDBLACKS. The players spent the week on the other side of the river as part of the une Semaine en Outaouais avec le ROUGE ET NOIR initiative.
Last night we went over to Gatineau for a football clinic as part of Une semaine en Outaouais avec Le Rouge et Noir.

The week started with a youth football clinic in collaboration with the Vikings de Gatineau, where over 100 tyke, mosquito and peewee players had a chance to hone their skills as they gear up for the next half of their minor football seasons.
Players then visited Ecole De La Foret the next morning to share their stories about setting their goals and never giving up on becoming a professional athlete.
Trois membres de la French Mafia du Rouge et Noir d’Ottawa devaient s’adresser aux élèves de quatrième, cinquième et sixième année.

They ended the week with a live radio broadcast on 104.7 FM Outaouais from bar La Drave. Hundreds of local fans turned up in numbers in support of the live event!
