We’re turning back the clock on Saturday, September 21st at our Retro Night and here’s some of the top things we’ve got planned!
1. Honouring Kaye Vaughan
Kaye played 12 seasons for the Ottawa Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League, playing on both the offensive lines and defensive. Kaye was selected as an Eastern All-Star six times on offense at tackle (1956 and 1957) and also at guard (1953, 1959, 1960 and 1961) and was selected as an Eastern All-Star four times on defense, 3 as a defensive tackle (1956, 1957 and 1959) and one as a middle guard (1962).
At Halftime we will pay tribute to Kaye’s accomplishments by adding him to the Wall of Honour at TD Place Stadium.
2. The WOW Item of the Game
The WOW Item of the Game for our Retro Night on September 21st is the Foot Long Crepe Smorrito!
Bring your sweet tooth as this delicious dessert is filled with chocolate hazelnut spread, graham cracker crumbs, marshmallow fluff and topped with chocolate, caramel and strawberry sauces as well as powdered sugar.
Available at the Smoking Pig on the South Main Concourse or the Glebe Grill on the North Upper Concourse.

3. Merch Item of the Game
In honour of Retro Night, jersey shirts with iconic Ottawa football players Russ Jackson and Tony Gabriel will be 20% off in Stadium and at the TD Place Team Shop!
4. Fans on the Field presented by The Brick
Even though we are honouring past Ottawa football players at the game, you can come to the field and meet players from today after the game! Once given the go ahead from security fans are welcome to come down right on to the field where the game was just played and meet their heroes.
