The REDBLACKS are coming back to TD Place hot off their first win EVER in Calgary, 32-28. The boys are taking on the Saskatchewan Roughriders this Thursday, June 20th at 7:30pm. It’s always fun inside The Stadium at TD Place and our opener will be no exception!
1. The all new RNation Block Party
Start your game off right by coming down to the Aberdeen Square for the first ever RNation Block Party! There will be drinks, samples from Tim Horton’s, games for the whole family and more!
2. Halftime performance from Monster Truck
Canadian rockers Monster Truck will be performing live at halftime as part of Thursday Night Football!
3. The Specialty Food Item
There will be a brand new specialty food item at every single game this year. At our home opener you can get the 2-Foot-Long Doritos Mac and Cheese Dog! You read that right. Two. Feet. Long.
These monster dogs will be available at the Smoking Pig South Main and Glebe Grill North Upper. Limited quantities available so get yours as soon as you can.
4. Come meet the RPuppies
You’ve seen them all over our social media and now you’ll finally have the chance to meet them. Three of the RPuppies will be walking around the concourse at our home opener! Keep your eyes open and come say hi.
5. Take a picture with the world’s largest foam finger!
Foam fingers are a staple in stadiums and arenas around the world. Our friends at TD Bank are bringing their own foam finger on Thursday. If you’re trying to find, here’s how it looks:

- Has our logo and TD’s logo on it.
- IS 30 FEET TALL!
This foam finger is HUGE and you can come and get a photo with it between Gate 3 and the Aberdeen Pavilion.
