Your Ottawa REDBLACKS have developed a healthy rivalry with their Eastern Final opponent over the club’s first five years in the league. Here are five things you should know before Sunday’s division clash:
1. Ottawa swept the season-series with the Ticats by a combined score of 86-59 in three games.
2. Trevor Harris completed 70/97 passes (72%) and did not give up an interception in 2018 versus Hamilton.
3. Noel Thorpe’s defence has limited the Tabbies to three touchdowns, picked off Masoli on four occasions, and sacked him five times as well.
4. Luke Tasker and Mike Jones led the way for the Ticats receiving corps, combining for 224 yards and two TDs in the past two meetings.
5. William Powell has been key to the REDBLACKS success versus Hamilton, contributing to two Ottawa wins with 195 combined total yards.
