Powell honoured by CFL for outstanding Week 14 performance
REDBLACKS running back William Powell has been named the CFL’s Shaw Top Performer for Week 14, the league announced Tuesday.
Powell was a major contributor offensively in Ottawa’s impressive 30-25 win over the Roughriders in Saskatchewan on Saturday night. The dominant performance saw Powell turn 18 carries into 148 rushing yards, including 69 and 19-yard touchdowns. The impressive display saw Powell take over as the CFL’s leader in rushing yards with 994.
