REDBLACKS kicker Lewis Ward has been named one of the CFL’s Shaw Top Performers for Week 7, the league announced Tuesday.
Ward had a huge night in Hamilton on Saturday, hitting seven of seven field goals and recording all of our points in a 21-15 win over the Tiger-Cats at the always tough Tim Hortons Field. Ward’s output set a franchise record for most field goals made in a single game. In total, Ward kicked for 245 yards, including a 47 yard field goal, and is now riding a 17-straight FGs made streak.

Ward and the REDBLACKS return to action on Thursday night as Ottawa visits the Toronto Argonauts at BMO Field and then will be back at TD Place on Saturday, August 11 to take on the Alouettes.
