REDBLACKS to honour military with game day fly-past

As part of our Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Night, there will be a Royal Canadian Air Force fly-past (weather permitting) over TD Place on Thursday, July 12 at approximately 7:30 PM.

The fly past is part of the REDBLACKS annual Canadian Armed Forces appreciation game where fans have a chance to show their appreciation for the CAF men and women who serve our country.  All CFL teams hold CAF appreciation games and the RCAF takes part by utilizing pilot training hours to fly over their respective stadia.

One CF-18 jet is scheduled to fly from east to west over the field at TD Place just prior to kickoff.

The REDBLACKS seek to provide advance notification to as many Ottawa residents as possible that a fly-past will take place.  The team utilizes its own social media channels and notifies media, community associations and other groups that may help to get the word out to their readers/viewers/listeners.  The CAF and City of Ottawa also publicize the fly past through their own communications channels.
