REDBLACKS sign Quincy McDuffie to two-year deal

The Ottawa REDBLACKS have signed receiver/returner Quincy McDuffie to a two-year deal, the club announced Tuesday.

The 26-year-old Orlando native led the CFL in kickoff return average (27.7 yards) in 2016 while with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, returning 42 kicks for 1,165 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 23 receptions for 241 yards and a touchdown.

He was released by the Bombers following the 2016 campaign to sign with the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys before being waived by the club. The graduate of the University of Central Florida previously spent two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
