PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, OSEG

Mark is the President and CEO of the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) which includes the Ottawa REDBLACKS Football Club, Ottawa 67’s Hockey Club, The Stadium and Arena at TD Place and the mixed-use retail operations at Lansdowne. He is also on the Board of Directors of the OSEG Foundation.

Mark was born, raised and spent his entire career in Ottawa and is a proud alumnus of Carleton University. His uncle was Howard Darwin, one of the original owners of the 67’s and much of his childhood was spent at Lansdowne cheering on the 67’s and Rough Riders.

Mark is a chartered accountant who started his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers before getting his start in sports as Chief Financial Officer of the Ottawa Senators and the Canadian Tire Centre (formerly The Palladium). After “The Sens” Mark spent over 15 years in executive level positions in a variety of industries including software, professional services, life sciences, clean tech and oil and gas.

He lives in Stittsville with his wife Lisa, son Jackson and three cats. Daughter Meghan has married a Leafs fan and regrettably moved to Toronto.
