What is your Dream Job?

Performing on Broadway. Long shot, but a girl can dream!

I’m super claustrophobic, so a big open football field is a great place to be!

Do you have any Pets?

One dog, she’s a golden doodle

Who is the Most Inspirational Person in your Life?

The most inspirational person in my life is definitely my little sister. She is so smart, kind, and just a beautiful person inside and out. Love you Laney, xox

What is your Dream Vacation Destination?

Disney world hands down. I’ll probably be wandering the parks with a walker when I’m older to be honest

What is One Thing Most People Would be Surprised to Know About You?

I’ve been doing musicals all throughout my elementary and high school days. Everything from Beauty and the Beast to Fame!

Do you have any Nicknames?

Not really, but I’m open to suggestions!

Finish this Statement: I am most proud of…

Being part of this amazing program. I cannot thank the REDBLACKS Cheer and Dance team enough for allowing me the opportunity to perform with such an amazing group of people, infront of the best fans in the CFL!

What is your Dancing/Cheer Background and Experience?

I started dancing when I was three years old. I don’t think my parents could get me to stop dancing, in all honesty they probably had to tie me to my chair so I would eat dinner. At six I started competing and did so until I was about ten when I had to get surgery on both of my feet. After some time off I got back into competing at the age of 12 and have been dancing ever since!

Why did you Decide to Audition for the REDBLACKS Cheerleading and Dance Team?

One of my very good friends that I danced with when I was a kid was on the cheer side of the team the first year the program started, so I heard a lot about it from her. She looked like she was having the time of her life! I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be part of such an amazing community. By far one of the best decisions I have ever made!

What Advice Would you Give Someone who Dreams of Becoming a Dancer or Cheerleader?

Go for it! You have got absolutely nothing to lose. Going into my first year I was the youngest one on the team, so I felt a little out of place, and pretty intimidated. All I can say is give it your all and you will succeed. Everyone on this team wants to see you do well and we are there to cheer you on as much as we cheer on the players!

If you could say one thing to #RNation what would you say?

Thank you! Thank you for the crazy amount of support you have for not only the Redblacks, but the Cheer and Dance team too! None of this would be possible without amazing fans like you!
