What is your Dream Job?

!I am very passionate about my job as an instructional therapist for individuals with Autism because everyday I am rewarded with seeing progress as an immediate consequence of my efforts. Being able to impact and change someone’s life for the better is so motivating and the individuals I interact with everyday are beyond inspiring!

What is your Biggest Fear?

Clowns. Unfortunately when I have children there will be no clowns at birthday parties!

Do you have any Pets?

I have one adorable dog, Casper.

Who is the Most Inspirational Person in your Life?

My parents of course! They are both very successful in everything they do in life and are always supportive of the choices I make.

What is your Dream Vacation Destination?

I have been vegetarian for 10 years and I am a major book worm.

Finish this Statement: I am most proud of…

Running my first (but not last!) marathon at the 2015 Ottawa Race Weekend. I wouldn’t have gotten through the 42.2km run without my parents biking and meeting me throughout the route with words of encouragement and power bars!

What is your Dancing/Cheer Background and Experience?

I am a trained dancer in ballet, modern, jazz, pointe, hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical and baton. I was a competitive dancer for 6 years and continued dancing throughout university on the Carleton University Dance Team. It is one passion that I cannot give up as I am now a CFL Dancer and a dance teacher.

Why did you Decide to Audition for the REDBLACKS Cheerleading and Dance Team?

As a dancer I always want to challenge myself, improve my skill set, and expose myself to different aspects and categories of dance. I knew if I didn’t do this now I would regret it and always wonder “what if”.

What Advice Would you Give Someone who Dreams of Becoming a Dancer or Cheerleader?

Never let outside influences bring you down and keep on smiling through the tough times.
