The REDBLACKS next home game on August 25 will be the team’s annual Canadian Forces Appreciation night, featuring a pre-game fly-past by a CF-18 jet.
Fans are still talking about last season’s fly-past when the supersonic fighter thundered over the field at 500’ during the final strains of O Canada and then returned with afterburners flaming to launch the jet straight up like a rocket moments before kickoff. The highest scoring team in the CFL, the BC Lions, will provide the opposition on Canadian Forces Appreciation night.
