REDBLACKS, Fury FC Give Life Day Tomorrow at Canadian Blood Services

The Ottawa REDBLACKS and Ottawa Fury FC have joined the GIVE LIFE movement and are inviting fans to join them. The teams have partnered with Canadian Blood Services in an effort to raise awareness, recruit new donors and increase donations.

On Tuesday, August 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., members of the Ottawa REDBLACKS (including Moton Hopkins and Antoine Pruneau) and Fury FC (including Rafael Alves and Kyle Venter), are hosting a special blood donor clinic in support of local hospital patients. Ottawa residents are encouraged to attend the clinic and donate alongside their hometown teams.

Other special guests such as Bernie Ashe (CEO, Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group), Jody Mitic (City Councillor and Sports Commissioner of Ottawa) and the REDBLACKS Cheer Team and mascots will also be in attendance to support this great cause.

The Canadian Blood Services permanent clinic, located at 1575 Carling Avenue, will be open to the public on Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
