REDBLACKS Return to Mont Bleu in 2016

The Ottawa REDBLACKS will hold a training-camp scrimmage at the Complexe Sportif Mont-Bleu in Gatineau on Saturday, June 11th from noon to 2 pm.

It’s the third consecutive year the REDBLACKS have showcased the team’s talent for Gatineau-area fans at Mont-Bleu.

“We had a great experience the last two years at the facility and with the fans,” said Marcel Desjardins, general manager of the REDBLACKS. “We’re happy to be able to return this year and showcase the talent of the team to the fans of the Gatineau region and allow them to get to know their football team.”

The team will practice and play an intra-squad game from noon to 2 p.m. Players and coaches will be available for photos and autographs following the scrimmage.

The Complexe sportif Mont-Bleu is located at 389 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd. in the Hull sector.

“Our fans in Gatineau were an integral part of our success from the start and we are grateful for that support,” said Jeff Hunt, President of Sports with the Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group.

The REDBLACKS open the regular season with a Grey Cup rematch against the Edmonton Eskimos in Edmonton on June 25th and host the Calgary Stampeders for their first regular season home game on July 8th with kick off at 7 p.m. at TD Place.
